Ground From Above Afghan
Knitting pieces is so convenient! No matter who you are in your knitting- beginner or advanced- you can do this! If you make an Afghan in a chunky yarn, it knits up quickly.
I have knitted my sample using a Universal Yarn Deluxe Chunky. Alternatively, you can use any chunky yarn (any composition you love, recommended weight approx. 100m - 100g). Suggested substitutes: Magnum or Comfort Chunky from King Cole, James C. Brett Lazy Days, Bernat Softee Chunky, Lana Grossa Mille II, Schoeller und Stahl Filzi, Katia Peru or Alaska, Cascade Pacific Chunky or Anthem Chunky, Grundl Wolle Filzwolle Uni, Paintbox Yarns Wool Mix Chunky and similar. Don’t love chunky yarn? Choose any Aran or DK. It’s up to you. Remember - in this case size won’t be shown as in my knitting pattern. You have to know how to work cables and simple stitches as knit, purl, make one and knit two stitches together. Also, you have to know some basic crochet stitches for joining all squares in one big piece. You can knit your Afghan as big as you wish.
