Wrap yourself in delicate softness with Growing by the river scarf. This design features a flowing and growing motif with bobbles and twisted stitches. Surprisingly fast and fun knit!
Yarn:
Valley Yarns Valley Superwash DK (sample knitted in Sand colorway)
5.5 balls or 754 yards of DK weight wool yarn or less (depending on the desired length)
Needles:
Main needle: 4mm (US 6)
For ribbing: 3.5mm (US 4)
For tubular cast-on and bind-off (optional): 3.25mm (US 3)
Gauge:
20 st and 24 rows = 4” (10 cm) in chart pattern.
Additional tools:
Cable needle, tapestry needle, T-pins (optional for blocking), blocking wires (optional for blocking), scrap yarn (for tubular cast-on).
Finished dimensions:
The sample is 10” wide and 76” long (10 repeats of the chart). The number of chart repeats depends on desired length.
