Grubby Little Mitts and Hood
This download contains two patterns, one for the mitts and one for the hood. The specifications for each are as follows:
Gauge:
• 32 Stitches x 46 Rows = 4” x 4” in Stockinette Stitch
Finished Size:
• Toddler (2 – 3 years)
Notes:
• Mitts are knit in the round from the wrist up.
• The pattern has a right and left mitt. For the left mitt, knit the hand back and then the hand front. For the right mitt, knit the hand front and then the hand back.
• Pattern portions that hold for both mitts are written in black.
• The front portions are written in orange.
• The back portions are written in green.
• The thumb portions are written in purple.
• Stitches outlined in red denote stitch sequences that are repeated in certain situations. Check the written instructions for the correct number of repeats.
• When stitch counts change, the new count is written in (blue italics).
• If you would like to decrease the chances of lost mittens, attach them together with a cord that can be laces through the child’s sleeves.
• 1 skein of described yarn is enough to knit both the Grubby Little Hood and the Grubby Little Mitts
