An interesting texture where the stitches face different directions.

This is a brick stitch that I reverse engineered based on a rug that was crochet as a wedding gift for my grandmother in the 1930’s. This method is a bit different than others I have seen and leaves all edges textured. It can be worked all in one color or in blocks or stripes of color.
