Guatemalan Worry Doll
We all worry sometimes - that’s just our thing as humans.
But how great could it be if we could just give our worries to someone else?
Worry dolls (also called trouble dolls; in Spanish, Muñeca quitapena) are small, hand-made dolls that originate from Guatemala. According to legend, you are intended to tell your worries to the Worry Dolls, then place them under your pillow before going to bed.
The doll then absorbs all of your worries and you’ll be able to sleep like a baby…
This pattern of the worry doll is a wonderful gifts to a child and an adult as one.
This doll is also a great way to use all of your scrap yarn as the rows of the skirt take very little amount of yarn!
