This movie inspired beret is knit in the round in garter stitch. Enjoy a very easy pattern to create a fabulous accessory. You know it’s your favorite from the movie! All increases and decreases are completed on the knit rounds. Even the increases are invisible using the knit front, slip back method. The size is universal, but easily made larger by knitting a longer tam body. You’ll need only one hank of Ultra Alpaca or like weight yarn (worsted). Although you’ll need a hank of yarn, you’ll use less than 200 yards. Don’t skip on the needles. Use the 5 for the brim and 7 for the body. Size US7 DPNs are needed once you are at 66 stitches at the decrease. Customers love it!
