Gugu Bucket Hat
!! CROCHET PATTERN ONLY !! This is not a physical product !!
Love a scrap project, so I used all my summer tops leftover yarn to make a bucket hat, perfect right?? It will look nice with any of my summer outfits! Also very proud of this pattern as I feel is my most complete and a perfect pattern for all the beginner crocheters :)
** This pattern is written in US terms. **
What this pattern includes:
- Pattern notes - where you find all the info about yarn quality, hook size, stitches details and the other bits and bobs;
- How to make this hat to your exact measurement;
- Hat Chart / Diagram with brief instructions (for the visual people out there);
- Thorough instructions where every little details is explained, from how to make the more complicate stitches, to how I transition the yarn / colour, to how I weave in and trim the yarn ends.
All you will need is:
- Yarn: I would recommend recycled cotton or any other plant fiber.
- Crochet Hook: I would recommend sizing down from the recommended for the yarn you are using, other than that you can use any hook.
- Scissors to cut the yarn.
- Tapestry needle or a smaller crochet hook to weave in the ends.
- Tape measure.
Sizing:
The pattern is written for a size large and detailed explanation of how to make the hat to your own measurements are also given. As this is a made to measure pattern you don’t need to gauge test and you can use any yarn you would like.
Project Level and Time:
This is an accessible project for beginners but I would recommend having a notion of the basic stitches as this is not a learning how to crochet pattern.
-
For complete beginners I would say this is a weeks project, accounting that beginners are a bit slower and also less patient so may dedicate less time to one project ahah
-
For intermediate (which is what I consider myself) / and more experience crocheters I would say this is a weekends project.
