Feeling French? (Yes, blue, white and red are the French flag) I know plenty of us worldwide have French ancestry, or even just a fine appreciation of their history- and what better way to embrace our ancestral ties or love of things past than to make your very own soft plush piece symbolizing the days of old, and a bit of engineering that united people.

It’ll be okay <3
Ah! ça ira, ça ira, ça ira

Pattern includes photos for technique clarification, major steps, and assembly- this pattern does not contain photos for every repeating step.

This pattern is a 34 page PDF.

Pattern is written in US terminology (with Canadian spelling)

(Please reach out if you have any questions, or issues with the pattern: like my other patterns, it has been tested, but we’re human and sometimes miss things).

Level: intermediate (pieces are simple- but care is needed in sewing, and construction isn’t much fun). Understanding stitch orientation (side/top/rows and visual difference) is helpful for the final construction of a visually balanced piece. This is a “high sew” piece.

Project time: 18 hours, 30 minutes (average pace)

Finished size:
Height: 21” (53 cm)
Width- 9 ½” (24 cm)
Depth- 9 ½” (24 cm)
