This is a classical stranded knit hat with a two-coloured corrugated ribbing. The whole pattern uses three colours, but only two of them in the same round. The pattern is regular and easy to remember. In some places long floats are inevitable, and it is recommended that you weave in your yarn every 3rd stitch as you go. When working the pattern, keep the contrast colour strand near you, so it will appear as the more pronounced one (dominant).

In December 2021 I stayed in Gothenburg close to the university hospital “Sahlgrenska”. In the nearest vicinity to the hospital, a huge park called “Guldheden” is situated, which inspired me to this pattern. That’s why I thought it might be appropriate to name the hat and mittens set after the park.
