This is a smallish scarf/wrap as written (4’ wing span, 1’ deep), but could be knit to any size with enough yarn and time.

I used one skein of a mystery fingering weight merino and a little bit of a skein of Rowan Wool Cotton (similar gauge yarn) for the edge.

Uses gull lace pattern (made famous in Feb. Baby and Feb. Lady sweaters) expanding one stitch pattern width (7stitches) on each side over the course of 2 repeats of the stitch pattern. Center-line and 2 edge selvedge in garter stitch.
