Gulliver’s Neckerchief is a brilliant starter project. With clear photo tutorial, written instruction (UK terminology) and a chart it is easy to follow for beginners.
Equally, for advanced crocheter’s it is an excellent way of using up add bits of yarn.

Initially written for 4ply it can be crocheted in any weight yarn, just ensure you use a hook slightly larger than recommended for the yarn to create a soft drape.

I have made this Neckerchief many times now and is always so fun to do. Suitable for adults and children, I love to wear mine as an everyday accessory. My son (4 years old) likes that it keeps him warm without the bulk of a scarf tucked in his coat.
