Trees are my favorite!

I’ve been playing with the Gunflint Pines series of patterns for a few years now, and this year I’ve added this wide and cozy bulky weight headband pattern.

This headband is knit in the round from the bottom up using circular needles. The pattern calls for 4 colors. There are instructions for 3 sizes, youth, teen/adult s/m, and adult l/xl. The height of the headband is the same for all 3 sizes.

Shown in Malabrigo Chunky yarn. Bulky yarn can vary quite a bit, so be sure to gauge swatch and adjust needle size as needed to meet gauge. Note: Tight knitters may want to size up needles for a better fit.
