The Gunta Vest Top is a side to side project that is made all at once.

The half double crochet technique makes it look like a knit stitch.

The project starts with a half double crochet foundation stitch and it starts already closed on the sides.

We start by working one strap, than front and back separatly and then rejoin for the other strap.

To work the volumes, both neckline and hem are worked with single crochet while the rest of the body is worked in half double crochet - this creates the shape for the top.

If you’d like yo make your Gunta Vest Top longer just increase the number of stitches of your foundation row.

The yarn - Yak and Cotton - gives a nice shape to the Vest.
