Gussy up your Memaw
Gussy up your Memaw is the perfect little pattern for a beautiful project bag, a great beach or shopping bag, or even makes gorgeous storage cubes to hide all your stuffs in. The pattern is able to be worked with any of my squares from the Hooked on Grannies CAL so you can really have a bit of fun with this one and make it your own.
So excited to see all your beautiful yarn tucked into your gorgeous new project bags, go, go, go ;)

Material list:
➢ Any yarn of your choice – I used Colourspun DK Cotton (natural fibre yarns tend to hold their shape better than manmade fibres such as acrylic).
➢ 4mm hook or hook compatible with yarn used.
➢ 3.5mm hook for joining.
➢ Needle for sewing in ends and needle join.
➢ Scissors.
➢ Stitch markers.
➢ Fabric to line the bag. I used an upholstery linen to give the bag some sturdiness (I purchased a half metre of 1.5metre wide fabric and had plenty left over).
➢ Sewing needle and thread.
➢ 2 x 18mm press studs.
➢ Pins.
➢ Iron-on Vilene or interfacing (I purchased a half metre of 1.5metre wide stabilizer and had plenty left over).
➢ Plastic sheets if you are making storage boxes (you can purchase acetate sheets at any good paper or craft supply store).
➢ Tape measure.
In the prelude (beginning pages) of the pattern you will find detailed stitch tutorials, yarn quantities used and many many more bits of useful info!
You are more than welcome to work in any yarn of your choice. However, depending on the yarn and tension, you may have a size difference.
Throughout the written pattern there are detailed photo tutorials.
