This pattern is graded for two different yarn weights:

• DK/8ply knit at a tension of 22 stitches and 30 rows/rounds over 4 inches on 4mm needles.
• Aran/heavy worsted knit at a tension of 18 stitches and 26 rows/rounds over 4 inches on 5mm needles.

Upon purchasing, you will receive two patterns , one per each yarn weight.

Gwendolyn is the sibling pattern to Griffin. These two patterns were designed specifically with Noro yarn in mind but work terrifically with solids, semi-solids and variegateds.

Gwendolyn is a top-down seamless dress with design elements that hark back to the 1970s.

It has a fun and quirky construction twist on the traditional saddle shoulder that attempts to minimise finishing and the stop start knitting of traditional saddle shoulders.

Gwendolyn can be knit with or without a hood, and features a delightfully easy to knit-in-as-you-go kangaroo pocket. The finishing touch is the gorgeous mitred neckline.

Gwendolyn is narrower than Griffin. It has less ease and doesn’t sit as wide across the shoulders, nor are the armholes and neckline as deep. Gwendolyn has a subtle A-line shape.
