Gwendy Elephant the Ami
The amigurumi is fast and easy to make and will make any children happy.
The pattern is written in English, using American crochet terminology, and includes US/UK conversion charts for both stitches and hook sizes.
It is full of hints, tips and photos that help you along the way.
For beginners instructions of basic crochet stitches are provided.
It is crocheted in one piece starting from the feet up to the head. only ears and trunk are sewed on separately. I used a pipe cleaner to make the trunk pose-able.
Difficulty Level: intermediate.
Skills required are sl st, sc, dc, ps, color change and increase/decrease sts.
Finished Size: if done with cotton Sport, 2.5mm hook, it is 23.5 cm (9.2”) high and 8cm (3.1”) wide w/o arms. This may vary depending on the yarn and hook size you decide to use.
