I was inspired to design this baby hat whilst, of all things, watching rugby: the supporters for the Wales side in the Six Nations were wearing the daffodil on their heads with as much pride as any cheesehead or wingnut!

This pattern is custom-sized by working backwards from the gauge to fit your recipient’s head, so I haven’t listed needle suggestions; just choose a yarn and swatch until you like the results. Small heads will not take very much yarn at all…
