Gypsy Blanket
This is a pattern in UK and US terms that allows you to crochet your own Gypsy blanket. The vivid colors gives it the “gypsy” feel - bright, fun, rebellious and timeless, while the calming dark grey edging frames it well.
The pattern comes in a PDF file and includes 5 pages:

You will need:
YARN: Ideal from Bergere de France (50g =125 m)
or any Sport weight yarn of your choice, approx 3600-3800 m (30 x 50g balls). If using a DK weight yarn, keep in mind your blanket will turn out a little bit larger.
HOOK: Size 3 - 3,5 mm/US D3-E4/ UK 11 or 9 or hook adjusted to your tension and yarn choice.
GAUGE: 24 sts x 31 rows + 10 cm square (not needed)
TOOLS: Scissors and darning needle
MEASUREMENTS & TECHNIQUES:
- 45 x 55 inches/ 115 x 140 cm
- Granny Squares joined with the Join-As-You-Go method.
This pattern is excellent for a beginner with all the help from picture tutorial and easy to follow instructions.
