YARN DesigningVashti Lotus (52% cotton, 48% rayon; 256 yd 235m/3½ oz 100 g; ): #0001 pearly pearl 2 (2, 2, 2, 3) skeins for boxers; #0003 satin grey 4 (5, 5, 6, 6) skeins for pants.
HOOK Size 7 (4.5 mm). Adjust hook size if necessary to obtain correct gauge.
NOTIONS Yarn needle; st markers (m); Rainbow Elastic Fine (1 mm) from Bryson Distributing; 50 yd per card, in shade to match yarn, 1 (1, 1, 2, 2) cards or elastic sewing thread such as Dritz 9345; 30 yd per spool, only black or white available, 1 (1, 2, 2, 3) spools.
GAUGE 16 fsc, sc or hdc = 4”, 2 reps and 4 rnds = 4½“ and 2¾” respectively, worked in main patt.
