Gypsy Rose head scarf

You can adjust the length of your straps to be shorter/longer by adding/subtracting from your starting chain, ending on an odd number. With this exact pattern my head scarf measures 42” long and 3.5” tall in the center. I would not go shorter than 30” as you wont be able to tie it comfortably.
If you would like the center (the part on top of the head ) to be larger simply repeat rows 4 through 8 one more time. This will make your straps wider as well however.
Gauge is not terribly important, it is the length that matters.
The yarn I used is a cotton/acrylic blend and has a good stretch to it but I believe a pure cotton would also work well
