The Fibre Company has developed an array of wonderful blends and Road to China is a personal favorite. It was a natural choice to show off the pattern stitch and to wear around the neck.

Road to China Light is a 3-ply strong, soft, shiny and drapey yarn with a lot of body perfect for luxurious, soft and warm items. The unique blend of fibers are spun into a smooth yarn and then kettle dyed, and the different way the fibers absorb the dye creates a beautiful depth of color with subtle heathered tones.

Stitches used :
YO, mirrored and double decreases.
Provisional cast on & kitchener join.
The pattern is written only.
The stitch count changes on every right side row, and the ending row count numbers are included in the pattern.

2 skeins Road to China Light, shown in Abalone - 159 yards per 50g skein
Smooth contrasting waste yarn for provisional cast on.
Gauge : 5 stitches and 7 rows to one inch in stockinette stitch.
US5 Needles or size needed to achieve gauge.
Size F crochet hook for provisional cast on.
Finished Dimensions are about 9 1/2” x 26” relaxed
