This is a lovely stitch and a fun moderately easy project for you to create!

Skill level: Intermediate to moderate

Skirted romper, bonnet and booties are KNITTED. Bear, pillow and small handbag are CROCHETED.

Materials Required for this Item:

4 medium weight yarn (romper, booties and headband)

4.5mm circular needle

For this skirted romper, headband and booties I used Loops and Threads Brushed Swirl in color Wisteria to work up this romper set. You will use roughly ¾ of the ball or roughly 150 grams/420 meters

For the bear I used Red Heart Hygge Fur Royal Purple. Again you will have plenty leftover from this 200 gram ball using roughly 60 meters

For the little handbag I used Patons Metallic in color Metallic Purple. I used roughly 23 meters to complete.

I used a 5.5mm crochet downsizing from recommended size to create the 10 inch size bear

Darning needle

Stitch markers

Stuffing for bear

11 beads or more to achieve handbag length

Small amount of black yarn for bear nose

5 buttons of choice. I used ½ inch size wooden buttons

2 - small buttons for bear eyes I used a flat black plastic shank style button. These buttons have a loop on the underside rather than having holes.

This is a wonderful gift to make in no time or to sell as a Photo prop.
