Notes on constructions
Hadelia is a trapezoid-shaped shawl. Its construction begins at the top centre, like a traditional top-down symmetric triangular shawl. After finishing the central triangle, both sides are worked separately, starting with the left side. It features i-cord edges all around it, starting from the cast-on and ending at the bind-off.

Julie Asselin Leizu, fingering weight yarn (115 g / 385 m; 4.06 oz / 420 yd; 90% SW Merino, 10% Silk)
3 skeins, Antique.

Amounts may vary because of the type of yarn, personal gauge and any changes made to pattern.

Needles
4.5 mm / 80 cm US 7 / 32” circular needles or the required needle size to obtain the correct gauge.

Other notions
Tapestry needle, 4 stitch markers, leftover yarn.

Gauge
22 sts and 31 rows = 10 x 10 cm 4 x 4” in Stocking Stitch worked FLAT, after blocking.

Notas sobre la construcción
Hadelia es un chal con forma de trapezoide. Su construcción empieza en el centro superior, como un chal triangular simétrico tradicional. Al finalizar el triángulo central, se trabajan ambos lados por separado, empezando por el lado izquierdo. Cuenta con un i-cord o cordón alrededor de todo el contorno, empezando con el montaje y acabando con el cierre.
