Hage halfmitts are knitted in the round, seamlessly from the bottom up. After a two colour Cast On, the mitts are knitted in a simple two colour pattern. A one sided thumb gusset in the palm follows the shape of the hand and lets the colourwork flow uninterrupted on the front side of the mitten. The hand and thumb are finished with an estonian braid and knitted bind off. The wrist of the mitt is slimmer than the width of the palm.

SIZES:
1 (2) to fit a palm circumference of 18-19 (20-21) cm. Finished palm circumference is approx. 18 (19.5) cm, finished length is 17 cm. Recommended ease is 0 to -1.5 cm.

GAUGE:
32 sts and 35 rows = 10x10 cm in colourwork in the round

2.5 mm DPNs (or magic loop), 2.0 mm DPNs (or magic loop), stitch markers, stitch holder, tapestry needle

Hage halvvantar stickas runt, nedifrån och upp. Efter en tvåfärgad uppläggning stickas halvvantarna i ett enkelt tvåfärgsmönster. En livslinjetumme följer handens form och låter flerfärgsmönstret flöda obrutet på vantens ovansida. Handen och tummen avslutas med en estnisk fläta och avmaskas i mönsterfärgen. Halvvantarna är smalare över handleden än över handflatan.

1 (2) för att passa handomkrets 18-19 (20-21) cm
Vantens omkrets är ca 18 (19,5) cm, längden är 17 cm. Rekommenderad rörelsevidd är 0 till -1,5 cm.
