The pattern is for a cute and fun haggis called Haggy, named by my daughter. I have loved creating the pattern for Haggy that is really quite a simple and quick to make pattern. I have always loved our Scottish celebrations for Robert Burns on 25th January and really love some tasty haggis so wanted to dedicate a simple and cute design to our national dish. Haggy is a cheeky and fun little amigurumi who will always escape being dished up on our plates but loves to join in the celebrations. Infact, any celebration is an excuse for Haggy to have some fun and she’ll love hanging out with anyone from all walks of life. I hope you will love the pattern as much I have loved creating her.

The skill level for this pattern is Easy and it is available in English, UK and US terminology. The skills that are needed for this pattern are Amigurumi techniques including

  • magic circle
  • crocheting in the round
  • double crochet(UK)/single crochet (US)
  • increase and decrease stitches
  • crab stitch or twisted double crochet
  • There are also some embroidery techniques

This pattern is a perfect stash buster project! Any DK/3 Light weight yarn can be used. Yarn I have used:
