Haiku Arm-Leg Warmers
“All of Heaven and Earth
Flowered white obliterate…
Snow…unceasing snow” Haiku by Kajiwara Hashin
This winter poem was the inspiration for my Haiku Leg Warmer design, that can also double as Arm Warmers. The pattern also includes instructions for matching Boot Cuffs. Both will accommodate up to an 18” calf circumference. Instructions are also included if you need to make them wider.
Also available is a pattern for the matching Haiku Slouchy Hat, which includes instructions for a matching Ear Warmer.
Each pattern can be purchased individually or together on an E-Book (which is more cost effective).
Listed above are additional yarn suggestions that will work quite well with this pattern. US #10 1/2 DPN’s are the only other item you will need to finish this project.
The bind off used is Jeny’s Suprisingly Stretchy Bind Off. Instructions for this method can be found here link text
Bulky yarn and large needles make this a one day project, perfect for last minute Christmas gifts!
Happy Knitting!
