This shawl is constructed from the top down using the traditional method of increasing at the beginning of each row as well on each side of the middle stitch of each row. Yarnovers are used for the middle increases, and regular “knit front and back” increases are used at the beginning of each row. The Seeds row and the Sprouts edging enhance this Garter stitch shoulder shawl.
