This pattern uses hairpin lace and 5 DK mini skeins to create a fun lacy cowl. This cowl uses a join as you go technique and features picot edging on the top and bottom. It’s a great scrapbusting pattern since it uses less than 20g per color. In addition to the yarn, you’ll need a size G (4.0mm) crochet hook and a hairpin lace loom.
The pattern is available for free on my blog as well at https://kickincrochet.com/hairpin-lace-cowl. I’ve included a video tutorial showing how to do the joins for this cowl, and I also have videos showing how to make strips of lace and how to use guide yarns to keep your hairpin lace loops straight. I hope you enjoy this project!
note - when you purchase the PDF, I also include a PDF tutorial showing how to make hairpin lace strips - you can ignore the joining instructions on the tutorial since the cowl uses a different join technique.
