One size: 180cm / 71” long, 55cm / 22” at widest point Yarn: Urth Yarn 16 Fingering Weight (fingering / 4-ply-weight; 100% SW Ultrafine Merino wool; 200m / 220yds per 50g ball)
Yarn A: P40; 3 skeins
Yarn B: G10; 3 skeins

Yarn A: 500m / 550yds of fingering / 4-ply-weight yarn
Yarn B: 500m / 550yds of fingering / 4-ply-weight yarn
Gauge: 24 sts & 48 rows = 10cm / 4” over garter stitch on 3.5mm needles before blocking.
Needles: 3.5mm / US 4 circular needle, 80cm / 32” length Always use a needle size that will result in the correct gauge after blocking.
Notions: Stitch marker, tapestry needle
Notes: Halatian is worked flat from one point to the other, in one piece. I-cord edges are worked during the body of the shawl, for minimal finishing. This pattern uses intarsia. When changing from one colour to another, the yarns will be “interlocked” on the WS as follows: pick up the new colour from underneath the previous colour, “locking down” the previous colour.
