Materials, tools:
Any yarn (I used polyester cord without core, 5 mm, ~140 m/~5 511 in)
Hook suitable for your yarn (I used 5 mm)
Techniques needed to make a purse - basic stitches (US terms):
Slip stitch (sl st)
Half double crochet (hdc)
Size of the finished item:
The size of finished bag depends on the yarn and hook size. My purse size is:
Length: 10.6 in (27 cm)
Width: 4.7 in (12 cm)
Height: 7.8 in (20 cm)
Gauge: 10 stitches and 5 rows in 4 inches
