Half Moon Spectacles is the first pattern in the sock club and is inspired by Albus Dumbledore. His description at the beginning of the book is one of the first glimpses we get into the magical world. Of course, no-one ever thinks to buy him socks for Christmas, so it seems fitting that this pattern should be the first in the club.

The simple cables are reminiscent of the half-moon shape with a subtle texture stitch adding the twinkle in his eyes. The pattern is intuitive but with enough variety to keep your interest, making them an easy knit.
