This is a half- pi shawl (a full semi circle) and is made using a sample of different stitch patterns and dividing patterns. Most are simple, only a couple of the dividing patterns need a bit of concentration, but you will never be bored knitting this shawl.
I used a set of 3 lovely skeins dyed to match from Orchidean Luxury Yarns, but as long as you have a lightly patterned skein, a short colour change skein and a semi-solid that all go together, you will have a lovely shawl.
