Halfling Amigurumi
Folklore has many stories of little people with many different names - brownies, hobs, hobgoblins, Puck. They keep themselves well hidden and can be helpful or mischievous. These creatures exist in fantasy as diminutive folk, about half the size of a human hence the name Halfling, who generally are cheerful and enjoy their food.
Included in this pattern are the details to crochet a male or female Halfling, with various options for the way they look.
Male Halfling: you can choose to make him with just a shirt and trousers, or with an integral waistcoat, and you can make him a separate jacket or a hooded cloak.
Female Halfling: you can make a traditional version with a long skirt and curly hair, or a Steampunk version with a tunic, leggings, spiky hair and goggles.
The pattern is suitable for crocheters with a little experience. The instructions are detailed and easy to follow if you know the basic stitches and techniques used to make amigurumi, and there are lots of photos to help with the more advanced techniques used.
