Halfsies Socks Light
The Halfsies Socks Light pattern is the fingering weight version of the Halfsies Socks. These fun and deceptively simple socks are all about color play! They are worked flat using very simple intarsia and then sewn together. Don’t worry if you’ve never worked intarsia or sewn socks before - I have video tutorials to walk you through it!
These socks are totally customizable, with unlimited possibilities for how you can knit your socks. Have fun playing with color and texture and making the perfect socks for you!
YARN: Fingering Weight Yarn
The Halfsies Socks Light were designed in collaboration with Indie Yarn Club, using Happy Feet Merino Sock Yarn (100% Superwash Merino, 400 yds/365 m per 100g skein).
Colorways used: Golden, Superfuture, Neon Coral, Pale Peach, Grace, Baby Mint, International. (For specific colorways used in each sample, please see the Sample Library on page 6.)
YARDAGE:
Because these socks are so customizable, exact yardage will depend on the yarn you use, your gauge, foot length, leg length, and any modifications or customizations that you make. Each pair of kids socks will require 75-250 yds/69-229 m of fingering weight yarn. Each pair of adult socks will require 145-400 yds/133-366 m of fingering weight yarn. Each section of each sock uses very little yardage, so these socks are perfect for mini skeins and using up leftover yarns!
