Notes: Halftone is worked seamlessly from the top down. Beginning with the back neckband, the upper back is worked flat with increases to the underarm. Then the fronts are picked up from the shoulders and worked straight down to the underarm, with the shoulder “seams” sitting on the back of the sweater. The fronts and back are joined to work the body in one piece to the hem, with a shadow knitting intarsia motif. The sleeves are picked up and worked in the round, with a gathered cuff.
