Hall of Mosses
Main body is knit flat and bottom up, in two panels, and primarily in reverse stockinette. A partial edge of each panel is joined in the round to create cuffed, partial sleeves, while the other edge of the panels is seamed together twice, creating a gap for a v-neck. Pattern is purposely designed to be low in the front and high in the back.
Sizing. This pattern has a very positive ease and is knit in a large mesh pattern so it drapes very well regardless of yarn material, and works with varying yarn weights. There are notes that provide simple ways to increase or decrease sections to fit many body types. For these reasons, the Hall of Mosses design functions for most sizes.
The design elements provide a lot of flexibility with yarn weight and material. The pattern was tested with different yarn weights ranging from fingering to worsted, as well as different yarn materials, e.g. various wools and silk. This wide range of flexibility does not allow for an accurate guage however, yet the average guage is listed. Testing often required 2-3 skeins.
