The Hall of Prophecy Shawl was inspired by the towering shelves of prophecy orb’s in the Hall of Prophecy’s located within the Department of Mysteries in the magical world of Harry Potter. This shawl utilizes an alternating design of solid sections of double crochets combined with non-traditional crochet techniques that make the circular-orb shapes within the lace rows.

This shawl has a 58-inch wingspan and a depth of 30 inches.

Gauge

You will need approximately 700 yards of a 2 or 3 weight yarn and a 4.00mm crochet hook.

For this sample I used 3 skeins of Brava Sport Weight Yarn.
