This is a mix of a top down triangle shawl and a filet crochet pattern.

My finished shawl is 56” across the top and 25” tall at the center point. I used a #2 boucle yarn I had in my stash, which is almost like a #3. I would recommend a regular lightweight #3, which should make your shawl a little bigger than mine.
