DK Knitted Can Koozies - Set of Three Halloween Patterns

Here you will find three patterns to create your own set of Halloween Koozies. These cuties make a great novelty gift, and are easily worked over a few evenings or a lazy Sunday using very little yarn.
Make these super little Koozies for a loved one (or yourself!), to keep cans cool and fingers warm. Also perfect to double up as a sweetie cup for little monsters

Materials:

3mm straight needles (UK), yarn needle
DK coloured yarn for all as required (see list below)
Oddments of felt and yarn for face features

Abbreviations:
K = Knit
P = Purl
Sts = Stitches
St-st = Stocking Stitch (K1 row, P 1 row)
Gt-st = Garter Stitch (K all rows)
B&T = Break & Tie (break yarn, pull through sts one by one, and draw tightly)
Tog = together (i.e. knit two stitches together to create one & reduce stitches on row)
Inc = increase (knit or purl twice into one stitch creating two, to increase stitches on row)

Yarn Colours;
Frank-Can-Stein = Green, black, grey.
Witch’s Can-Cat = Black, oddments of colour for features.
Pump-Can = Orange, green.
All can be made from cost effective 25g DK toy yarn balls, and using oddments for smaller features:

These Koozies will fit the taller can sized 15cm & the smaller can sized 11.5cm as a universal piece.

I have used DK Dollymix throughout in 25g balls, these are excellent value at around just £1 in most stores, money-savvy homemade gifts, what’s not to love?!
