Hi everyone! it’s been quite a long time since I’ve posted something on the blog. Nevertheless, let’s catch up with a new design, and expect many to come soon because I have a lot of projects to share. Fall has begun and Halloween is approaching, so this sweater is a really great fit to make for kids under ten. Simple, beautiful, knits smoothly, and guess what! it comes with a matching hat that I’m going to post soon. Feel free to make it with whatever spooky color you have at hand. So don’t waste time and grab some yarn. I hope your little ones enjoy a fun and exciting night with these friendly ghosts and bats.

Materials:

• Suggested yarn: Red Heart Super Saver, (100% premium acrylic, 7 oz (198 g), 364 yards (333 m), in the following colors and quantities: Burgundy (2 skeins) and Aran (1 skein).
• Circular knitting needles, 16” (40 cm) long, sizes US 9 (5.5 mm) and US 10 (6 mm).
• Circular knitting needles, 24” (60 cm) long, sizes US 9 (5.5 mm) and US 10 (6 mm).
• Double pointed knitting needles (DPNs) sets, sizes US 9 (5.5 mm) and US 10 (6 mm).
• Ring stitch marker.
• Regular stitch marker.
• Tapestry needle.

Measurements:

• Size 5/6: chest-bust = 23”- 24” (59- 60 cm), height= 43.5”- 46” (110- 116 cm).
• Size 7/8: chest-bust = 24.5”- 25” (62- 64 cm), height= 48”- 50.5” (122- 128 cm).
• Size 9/10: chest-bust = 26”- 27” (66- 68 cm), height= 53”- 55” (134- 140 cm).

Yardage:

• Size 5/6: 455- 460 yards (415- 420 m), approx.

• Size 7/8: 535- 540 yards (490- 495 m), approx.

• Size 9/10: 620- 625 yards (565- 570 m), approx.
