This pattern includes instructions on how to make the component parts, how to make the wreath cover (to fit any sized wreath base) as well as how to assemble the finished wreath.

This pattern is written in English using American crochet terms and contains photos to help you every step of the way.

You will need:

Chunky yarn in dark blue and dark green for the wreath cover - The pattern will explain how to make the wreath cover the correct size in any yarn. I used 94m of dark blue and 42m of dark green chunky yarn.

Dk or aran weight yarn for the grim reaper and other details (this is equivalent to either light worsted or worsted weight yarn). You will need the following colours & quantities:

Black (approx. 61m).

Dark Grey (approx. 16m).

Brown (approx. 3m).

White (or glow in the dark yarn - I used ‘DIY Glow’ by Lion Brand Yarn) (approx. 29m).

Please note = The amount of yarn used will vary according to yarn weight, hook size and stitch tension so these measurements are only a rough guide.

Suitable sized hooks for the yarn you have chosen - I used a 5mm hook with the chunky yarn (for the wreath cover) and a 4mm hook with the dk yarn (for the grim reaper and other details).

A 25 cm flat-backed polystyrene / styrofoam wreath base.

Toy stuffing to go inside the grim reaper and spider.

A tapestry needle (the longer, the better).

You may find it useful to have some long nosed pliers (for pulling the needle through the wreath).

Other tools you will need are some scissors and some pins.

You are welcome to sell the items that you make using this pattern, but please do not sell / share the pattern itself. Thank you.
