Construction:
This DK weight sock pattern is the perfect cozy accompaniment for fall. The pattern is top down and uses stranded colorwork. The heel is completed using a standard heel flap, heel turn, and gusset technique.

There are a variety of motifs letting you create ghosts, TRICK OR TREAT, pumpkins, BOO EEK, and candy corn.

Size:
There is one size available for this pattern. This sock fits a standard Women’s US7-9 shoe size and a standard Men’s US5-7 shoe size. However, adjustments to gauge may affect fit.

Notes on Gauge:
You may find your stockinette and colorwork gauges vary. If this is the case, the pattern recommends using the larger needle size for the stranded colorwork rows in the chart and the smaller needle size for the Main Color Only stockinette rows in the chart.

The pattern was designed in a plump sport weight yarn as the Main Color and a fingering weight yarn held double as the Contrast Color. Testers completed the pattern using a variety of sport and DK weight yarns to meet gauge.

Yarn Needed:
Main Color: 2 skeins (289yd)
Contrast Color: 1 skein (115yd). Note for the Contrast Color, this yardage was achieved due to holding fingering weight double. If a DK or single strand of sport weight yarn is used as the Contrast Color, yardage needed is approximately half (~57yd).
