Halloween Mosaic Square - Candy Corn
This pattern is for a mosaic square that can be used in other types of projects, such as blankets, pillows, trick-or-treat bags, table mats, etc.
Any yarn or hook will work, depending on the desired size of the finished square. I used yarn weight of 4 with a 5.5 hook, which creates a square of 13.5” x 13”.
You will need at least 4 colors of yarn - one for the background and the 3 Candy Corn colors. You could also use variegated yarn for the background, or use 2-3 colors of yarn to create a striped or gradient background. In the example, I alternated purple & aqua for the background rows.
This is a great way to use up scraps! The background will need approximate 100 yds of worsted or aran (wt 4) yarn, and the candy corn will need approximately 35 yds of each color (yellow, orange & white).
Pattern is in US crochet terms.
