The size of a ready toy is about 15-18 cm (7”) tall
with Sport / 5 ply (12 wpi) yarn and 2.00 mm crochet hook size (US - B/1; UK - 13)

The hat is sewn to the head. Optional the hat can be removable.
You need soft plush yarn for the belly (I used Alize Softy)
