MATERIALS
1 skein of Vita Charm (100% cotton; 106m (116 yards)/50g) – you need 12-15 g - or similar yarn (e.g. Hobbii Rainbow Cotton 8/6)
For embroidery and the green stem you need a little brown and green cotton yarn (approx. 270-300 m/100g). I used YarnArt Violet (color 0077 - brown) and Ceam Anna 16 (color 360 – green), both held double.

HOOKS
Main hook: E (3.5 mm) – to crochet the pumpkin itself and do the embroidery; 2.5 mm – for the green stem.

FINISHED DIMENSIONS
10 by 13 cm (3.9 ” by 5.1 ”)

ADDITIONAL TOOLS
A blunt tapestry needle to weave in the ends.

CONSTRUCTION NOTES
The coaster is worked in rounds. The first 5 rounds create a circular shape, rounds 6-7 make it resemble a pumpkin. Next, the embroidery is done with a crochet hook. Finally, the stem is worked in rows.
