Are you looking for the perfect Halloween throw blanket to decorate your dollhouse and dioramas for Fall? Knit up this quick, doll-sized chevron throw blanket using scrap yarns or choose candy corn colours like I have for a more playful, Halloween version of a classic.

I chose to knit my Halloween throw blanket in a soft and squishy merino yarn (4ply/fingering weight) and I also made a version in a cotton yarn. Merino seemed more snuggly for Fall and Halloween (though it’s a wet and dreary Spring here in Sydney).

The knitted chevron pattern is fairly easy and would suit Advanced Beginner knitters. However, it is a little unforgiving if you make a mistake as it will be easy to spot.

Stitches used are knit, purl, k2tog, yo, and ssk.
