This pattern will show you how to make a set of Halloween-themed treat bags. There are four different designs: a pumpkin, a cat, a candy corn, and a ghost. Each design has both a mini version (holds 1-2 candies) and a large version (holds a handful of candy).
Each design is meant to be as simple as possible, so there’s no extra sewing or attaching pieces. Any embellishments are crocheted directly into the pattern as you make the bag. But you can always add extra details if you prefer.
I made mine using various different worsted weight yarns and an H (5.0 mm) crochet hook. It only uses a little bit of yarn, so this makes a great stashbuster. Gauge isn’t crucial, but I tend to crochet tightly, so you may want to go down a hook size if you’re a looser crocheter. You’ll also need a tapestry needle to weave in ends and sew the bottom of the bag shut.
You’re welcome to do whatever you’d like to with finished products made from this pattern but if you do sell them, I ask that you link back to my page.
