This Crochet Trick or Treat Bag will have little ones so excited to go out on Halloween! They’re super fun and fast to whip up in the double stranded yarn, plus extra sturdy too!

This PDF crochet pattern includes instructions for 2 bag sizes intended for smaller children. There are also instructions to easily alter the pattern to make a larger bag size for older children.
• Smaller Bag – approximately 7” wide by 8” tall.
• Larger Bag – approximately 9” wide by 10” tall.

This crochet pattern is easy to follow and intermediate beginner-friendly, but still fun for more experienced crocheters. I hope you enjoy making this bag!

Materials:
• Worsted Weight #4 yarn - You can use any worsted-weight yarn for this project, cotton or acrylic. The yarn was used doubled for this bag, which means that two strands of yarn were held together. This makes the bag extra sturdy and helps it hold its shape well. You’ll need approx. 180 yds of yarn for the smaller bag and approx. 430 for the larger bag.
• Crochet Hook - 5 mm crochet hook for the smaller bag, or 5.5 mm crochet hook for the larger bag.
• Yarn needle – for sewing on the facial features and weaving in ends.
