Halloween witch bunny
Hello folks! Back on track, I am here to bring you the 10th installment in my 12 months of bun project: the halloween witch bunny! We’ve come a long way and there are only 2 more months to go! While I enjoy this project a lot, I am also sort of glad it’s coming to an end; especially in the last ~3 months due to pregnancy, my big final exam and vacation it was a bit stressful to get them out in time haha. But I’m confident the last 2 bunnies will be on time!
For October, what else could I be doing other than a halloween themed bunny? Since I already have a felted pumpkin bunny and a crochet ghost bunny at home, I opted to make a witch this time around. The cauldron turned out slightly to big so I had to make adjustments on the final positioning, but I sure hope you’ll make your own spooky little bunny! ❤
Materials
To make the witch bunny you will need:
– A 2.5mm crochet hook
– Grey, black, purple, orange and brown yarn
– A tapestry needle and scissors
– Stuffing
– Safety eyes
– Pipe cleaner for the stirring stick (optional)
– A stitch marker to help you keep track of the start of the round
Please note that you can make the witch bunny using any size crochet hook and yarn weight for a smaller or bigger result. Using DK yarn and a 2.5mm crochet hook, the bunny should be about 15-20cm tall.
Stitches & Abbreviations
The pattern is written using US crochet terms in continuous spirals. You will need to know the following kinds of stitches to make him:
– Magic Ring (MR)
– Chaining
– Single crochet (sc)
– Double crochet (dc)
– Decrease (dec); preferably using the invisible decrease method
– Increase (inc)
– Working in front loops only (FLO)
