Happy Halloween!
Look at this crocheted hat looking all knitted with the waistcoat stitch! I have a lovely video on my Facebook page to help you do this stitch. Go have a look at @Jennifersstitchedup in my videos section.
This is considered an intermediate level. You need to know how to carry yarn, waistcoat stitch and change colors between stitches to achieve this look.
This hat took a bit longer than my others because I could not decide on what to add or not add. So I have made it several ways and now you can too.
This pattern offers 2 different graphs. You can play around with them and add or take away designs…like leave out the moon, or take off his nose, change the stem to short and stumpy or crazy curly. Either way this one is a beauty. I cannot wait to see your color choices. Please tag me on social media on Facebook and Instagram.
This is written with 6 different colors of yarn. I wrote this in a purple tweed call Barn Door Heather by Knit Picks. It is on the thin side comparable to Caron Simply Soft yarns.
I also made it in I Love This Yarn because I assume many will. This changed the gauge length and width by half an inch. All the details are included in the pattern.
